Company: WHITE STORY (Fashion Retail in Melbourne, Australia)
Project: Work Experience
Brief: Design a logo based on the brief and preparing the files for a giveaway bag and a shipping box. Make internal communication materials (mood boards and trend research). Make garment technical drawings for spec sheets for manufacture.
Challenges: I was hired as a Jr. fashion designer but I worked on graphic design mostly there ( I was lucky!) since we were a small team.
PASSION: I experienced sewing, cutting, grading as well in the studio but I realised that I love using illustrator and photoshop much more. I got an amazing feeling of making a living by what I love.

LOGO DESIGN
Brief: They wanted to have a logo which uses Coco Gothic typeface, only text in it and the grey colour (#969696). They prefered a simple display of products so they decided to put the other labels for laundry and sizing on the side seam.
Result: I recommended the light weight font because it looked high end and sophisticated as it aligned with the brand concept. However, they chose the horizontal version with regular weight because they considered that the woven label requires a certain amount of line thickness.
BACK NECK LABEL DESIGN
Result: They took the end fold option as I recommended. It comes with a minimal look and it is cost effective as well. They chose the grey background reversed version for a nicer contrast because the brand carried only white colour garments.
